Beach Volleyball in Rotterdam-West

Hou Stand has a beach volleyball department and we have 5 beach volleyball courts right next to Sportcentrum West where we can play beach volleyball on real beach sand. The courts are safely enclosed by a fence and are also illuminated, so that we can enjoy beach volleyball during spring and summer evenings (naturally within the opening hours of Sporthal West).

Open Beach, clinics & tournaments

Our most important pillar is our Open Beach concept. Six days a week, from Monday to Friday from 19:00 to 22:00 and on Saturdays from 13:30 to 16:00, it is possible to play sets together with fellow enthusiasts. Open Beach is not just about the game, but also about the social atmosphere. Come and experience it! Read the rules and guidelines for further information.

Do you want to become an even better beach volleyball player? Then the clinics are for you (this season only available for Open Beach members). You will train in a small group with an experienced trainer for several weeks. We offer clinics for everyone from beginners to experienced players.

On several Saturdays, we organize tournaments in collaboration with Super Samenwerking Rotterdam. Participation in these tournaments is part of your membership, although sometimes an additional contribution may be requested. Check the schedule for more information.

Youth Training

Hou Stand values its youth members and wants to make beach volleyball available to its younger players. Therefore, after the indoor season ends and until the summer holidays, we offer beach training sessions for youth members. At the end of the series of training sessions, we organize a tournament in which parents, guardians, or other family members can participate to experience this great sport together.

Training sessions are held on Wednesdays from 18:00 to 19:00.

Being a member of Hou Stand Beach is great. Staying active with this beautiful sport while meeting cool new people. To create a safe and pleasant environment, we ask our members to take note of the Rules and Guidelines. When registering, you will be asked to agree to these.
