Beachvolley in Rotterdam-West
HOU STAND has a Beachvolley department and we have 5 beachvolleyball courts directly next to Sporthal West where we can play beach volley on real beach sand. The courts are safely surrounded by a fence and also lighted so we can enjoy playing beach volley during spring and summer evenings. (of course within the opening hours of Sporthal West.)

For adults: open beach, clinics & tournaments
Our main unique selling point is our Open Beach concept. Six days a week, Monday till Friday from 19.00 till 22.00 o’clock and Saturdays from 13.30 till 16.00 o’clock, it is possible to sign up and enjoy playing sets with others. Open Beach is not only about beach volleyball. It is also a social event where you can meet fellow beach enthusiastics. Come and find out. If you want to become an even better beach volleyball player, you can register for our clinics (only available for our Open Beach members). During several weeks you train with experienced trainers. We offer several levels: from beginners to advanced.
On several Saturdays we organise tournaments, in cooperation with Super Samenwerking Rotterdam. Entering tournaments is included in the membership, but sometimes an extra charge can be required. Check the schedule for more information.

For youth: training & tournaments
Hou Stand values her youth and wants to make playing beach volleyball accessible for our young players. Therefore we offer training for youth members after the end of the indoor season until the beginning of the summer holiday. At the end of the training series we hold a small tournament where parents, caretakers or other relatives can join and participate in this amazing sport.
Training sessions will be held on Wednesday from 18.00 to 19.00 hours.
